Lake Erie steelhead guide and author John Nagy caught this wild, summer run steelhead on the Kispiox River (a tributary of the mighty Skeena River) in British Columbia. This big buck fell for a black Angora Bugger (see John Nagy's steelhead guide book for fly recipe) on a traditional downstream swing with a 10 foot sink tip (#5 sink rate) and a 3 foot leader. It finally came to the net after a 45 minute battle (on a 12 1b. test tippet) and weighed 25 lbs.
