Hello folks,
I just thought we should get into a discussion about our community spirit. It seems we lost in touch for a bit. Some people are not sure why they joined and what they expected from the group. This is good way to get yourself acquainted. Let me keep it short and simple.
First of all we need to define an online community such as this one.
A community is "a group of people who gather together around a shared purpose, activity, or interest." People get to know each other better over time, and that some of them will develop personal relationships.
This is an important element in a group. A group is based on shared interest. We should not necessarily expect every person to participate on our site.
Another thing I wanted to make is that you should never assume things. Speak directly to the person involved. Remember that what you type in the message board or chat room may not always be interpreted the same way. People tend to generalize things. Just because you have had one bad experience with a particular member and you assumed this site sucks. This is your group too. Treat everyone with mutual respect. The group will continue to grow and prosper for years to come. Thank you for your supports and contributions.

Nerve exists because sex is beautiful and absurd, remarkably fun and reliably trauma-inducing. In short, it is a subject in need of a fearless, intelligent forum for both genders. We believe that women (men too, but especially women) have waited long enough for a smart, honest magazine on sex, with cliché-shattering prose and fiction as well as striking photographs of naked people that capture more than their flesh.
