Message board rules A few times, the message board has descended into chaos, with arguments breaking out and people being offended. It is a fact of life that people are more likely to be bold about what they say on a written, mainly anonymous forum, than if they were to meet the person face to face. I strongly believe in freedom of speech, and do not moderate the message board before posts are made. I have tried to encourage people to be self-moderating, but there have still been arguments. So, for legal reasons, and to keep the board a nice place to be, please observe the following when posting: - do not direct personal abuse at other members;
- do not make false accusations or remarks that damage another person or company's reputation (libel);
- do not make comments that are not permitted by UK law (including racism, incitement of religious hatred, etc.);
- do not use very foul language, including the use of asterisks where the meaning can be determined;
- overtly commercial posts are not permitted - this site is non-commercial - if you would like to draw the membership's attention to a product or service, please email website AT plagiouk.co.uk (replacing the AT with @, and removing the spaces) in the first instance. If your product or service is suitable for inclusion on the site, it will be added.
Offenders will be warned and persistant breach of the rules will result in membership cancellation.
This site is here for support and encouragement. While I will not delete posts as long as they are within the rules, I would still like to encourage everyone to keep their remarks and opinions about other band providers to themselves, as it is usually this topic which starts the arguments off, and it is not helpful to the site or to new members.
If you ever see a message that you feel is offensive or which breaches the rules, please email website AT plagiouk.co.uk (replacing the AT with @, and removing the spaces).
Thank you
Claire Kerr Plagio UK founder and manager
