Dear Coach, Sports Representative, Administrator

Many of you are aware that as of April 1st 2004, the NCCP underwent a number of changes to the former Theory Level 1 & 2 courses. Be assured that the program is going stronger then ever with all new content to meet all your coaching needs. Levels 1&2 have been replaced with the new multi sport: Introduction to Competition, Program A & B

Each course is approx. 13 hrs and can be completed in a weekend or 4 evening format with me. Coaches will additionally still require a sport specific module to become fully certified and those details can be found by contacting your sport technical director.

  • If you are new to coaching you will want to enrol in both Program A and B. Either one of these individually will meet many of your coaching needs as they each deliver different content but your time will be best spent taking both.
  • If you currently have your level 1 Theory then you should progress directly into Program B
  • If you currently have both Level 1 &2 Theory you may want to enrol in Level 3 Theory which is and will continue to be the highest level of coaching course available provincially for Sport Sciences.

I hope you will continue to promote the National Coaching Certification Program’s new multi- sport Introduction to Competition. Many of you have assisted me for quite some time in this effort. With 20+ years experience and almost 1000 courses later it’s still always a pleasure to have your coaches in my programs. As always I am available for sport specific courses at locations and times convenient to you if my attached schedule doesn’t meet your needs. One of our biggest hurdles is getting this information out to the community coaches that can really make a difference so please pass this information along in any mailings you do and link and promote my website where additionally you will find helpful hints, questions and answers, complete Program A& B descriptions and my schedule.
