TABLE TENNIS QUEBEC TO HOST THREE NATIONAL EVENTS IN 2001-02

In an unprecedented move, the Quebec Table Tennis Federation will host three national events this season.
The first time the Canadian table tennis elite will be in Quebec, will be on November 3-4, 2001 for the first leg of Canada Cup 2001-02.
On June 1 and 2, 2002 the top Canadian players will have another stop in the province and try to qualify for the Commonwealth Games in Manchester.
And finally, in July (9th to the 14th), the QTTF will be host to the 2002
Canadian Junior and Senior Championships.
All three events are scheduled to take place at College Letendre in Laval, QC. "We have embarked on an ambitious plan to host national events in cooperation with the Canadian Table Tennis Association," comments Jacques Plamondon, Director General of the QTTF. "These events will provide an opportunity for many Quebec athletes to measure themselves against the best in the country. When we organize such events, we offer a cost-effective
opportunity to our players, and it helps us to promote table tennis in our province."
The North American Table Tennis Championships will be hosted in Edmonton, AB
- April 6 and 7, 2002.

TENNIS DE TABLE QUEBEC HOTE DE TROIS COMPETITIONS NATIONALS EN 2001-02

Dans un geste sans précédent, la Fédération de Tennis de Table du Québec sera l'hôte de trois évènements nationals cette saison. La première fois cette saison que les joueurs élite Canadiens se  rencontreront au Québec,
sera les 3-4 Novembre, 2001 pour la première étape du Canada Cup 2001-02.Les 2-3 Juin 2002, les meilleurs joueurs Canadiens auront un autre arrêt dans la province et ils tenteront de se qualifier pour les Jeux du Commonwealth à Manchester.
Et finalement, en Juin (du 9 au 14), la FTTQ recevra les Championnats Canadiens Juniors et Seniors.
Les trois évènements prendront place au Collége Letendre à Laval, QC.
