33, Married for 13 yrs to a woman who doesn't like to ride but I have had 10 great years with her and 4 crappy ones anyway . I am a CNC machinist and have been working in the aerospace industry for 17 yrs. I like to make alot of custom billet pieces. (ask me I might!)My first bike was at 8 years old it was a RM 80 Suzuki dirt bike. I eventually went through literally 4 more bikes until I went to live with my Aunt who talked me into selling my GS1100 in1986. My Aunt and Uncle were hard core bikers. There was hardly ever a time when there wasn't some kind of motorcycle or parts in the house. (engine on the dining room table, frame in the den etc.) So that is how it came that I got into the whole biker scene and got my first Harley at a police auction in Knoxville, Tn. It was a 76 FLH police bike with the 74" shovelhead motor with a new top end for the what I thought was a high price of $2300 in 1987. I have traded up through a couple more Harley's and now have a Anniversary Heritage Classic.

I'm a 46 year old single "original" southern California girl, born and raised, but recently re-located to God's Country - Chester, Northern California. Never married (no qualifiers), no kids (like 'em if they're someone elses and properly cooked) and enjoy and appreciate the freedom my life choices have brought me. After riding on the back for years I made the decision to get my own bike, and in November 2000 took delivery of my very first scoot - a '01 FXD black Superglide whom I've lovingly dubbed "Sassy". I ride every chance I get and enjoy long rides to nowhere in particular as opposed to bar hoppin. By trade I'm a Human Resource Manager, but am currently taking some well deserved time off because I am blessed enough to be in a position to do so. ~ Debbie

Just turned 50 on 6/7/01. Married for 30 years to my High School Sweetie, Marilyn. 3 kids, Sarah 29, Emily 23, Nathan 22 and my ridin' buddy, he justgot his first Harley a 80 FXS. It's pretty cool to be able to ride with him cause I can see myself when I was his age and getting that rush of feeling the wind in your face for the first time. My first ride was an early 48 Pan, according to the numbers it was built in the first 6 months of that year. Stupid me decided in 1991 that I didn't want it anymore so I sold it. I was o.k. with that for about 8 years, then really started to regret it. Mama started seeing that twinkle in my eyes every time I saw somebody on a scooter and SHE convinced me that I had to have another one. She doesn't ride with me but she understands the way I feel about it. She says theres such a big difference in me again now that I'm back in the saddle. When things start to get me down she tells me to go for a ride, shes a good woman and thats the reason we've been married as long as we have. We have 3 grandkids Mallory 6, Natalie 5, and Gabe 16 months, the next generation rider. When he's here and he see's me get the lid on he goes to the garage door to watch me start it and when I come home he's the first one at the door waiting for me. I swear the boys got 50 weight runnin' thru his veins. I'm a warehouser for the city in the Electrical Dept. Got my own little office away from all the the rest of the crap and I keep track of all the Transformers, Vaults, Power Poles, etc. I get 3 days off every other weekend so I can get in a lot of quality ridin' time. I guess that pretty well tells my story.

I'm 35 married to Mic with 3 little kids. Slipped off the track a few years ago, miss the road and all the good peoples on two wheels out there. Used to own a BSA, she was a beauty, never quite got her to full working order, started to restore her and almost got the job finished. Regret that. Would love a Harley or mayeb a new Triumph. Started out at 14 with bikers, was a back seater for a few years, and then got into the front seat. Never be aback seater again I reckon. Do some parttime work in a Bakehouse, great food. This site is just what we've been lookin for, to gives us a good kick up the ass. Glad to see you all gettin around. Thought there'd be more Aussies here though. Cheers

I REALLY love to ride and do so as often as possible. I also enjoy scuba diving, flying, boating and trying to stay fit.

Age: 35 Marital Status: Married to the same girl forbetter than 14 years now Offspring: my boy is 9 and my girl is 7 Location: Live in Warrenton Va. now for the last 3 years. Before that I've lived in VT, CA, OH, KS, KY, and I was born and raised in West by God Virginia. I'd still live there if the economy was better suited to my chosen vocation. I will be moving back there once my kids are grown and gone. How I make money: I grew up a Dairy and beef farmer full time and a trapper in winter-time. Thought about being and auto mechanic for a living but after a year of it I decided to move on. I spent a few years as a soldier in the First Infantry Division of the US Army. I then went to college for Electrical Engineering Technology and got into the semiconductor industry upon graduation. That's where I've been for the past 11 years.....Microphotolithography to be exact. Helping these companies like intel and IBM make computer chips. My Ride: I started riding dirt bikes when I was 10 years old or so and never quit throughout my growing years. Always wanted a Harley, I partied with bikers a lot when I was a teenager though I could never afford one of my own. I've riden off and on over the years on friends or relatives machines but finally got in a position a couple of years ago to get my own bike. So I picked up my 2000 FXDX last March. ( ordered it in August 1999 ) It has been a great 15 months and 8,00 miles ( with a couple of months off for my broken right thumb but that's another thread ) I'll more than likely be riding and wrenching on this same sled 10 or 20 years from now. It is a great machine. Peace. Stay in the Wind.

Born April,1951. Married 30 years to Bonnie, my high school sweetheart. Two boys, 1977 and 1983. The 25 year old picked up a '00 FXSTS March '01, which gave me the bug again BIG TIME. A few times back on the saddle and I had to do it! (She'll forgive me some day soon I'm sure.) Got the Fatboy 6/19/01! What a thrill to be side by side in the wind with my "little" boy! I am a Finance Manager for a Chevy dealer. Been in the business 30+ years. First H-D was a new '77 FXS. Kept it 3 years, then sold it as the family was growing, responsibilities? What responsibilities? 3900 miles was all she had and I sold it to the guy for payoff ($3300) He's still laughing! Oddly, I bumped into the guy the day my son and I were picking up the Springer at the local H-D Store. I asked him whatever happened to my 'baby' and he said it's his prize possession. He still owns it. It has 5900 miles on it. He's trailered it to Sturgis and Daytona a few times. Says he's turned down $15000 for it. Won't sell it. But I have dibs on it if his brother doesn't want it if anything happens to him! Had my Fatboy punched out to 95", SE heads, forged pistons, SE257 cams, and a Thunderheader. Good enough for now!

I'm 49 yrs old, just got divorced last week. Been riding this old shovelhead since 84. I'm a transport driver for a local construction company. I really don't like riding a bagger, but u just can't beat it for going any distance, other than bar hopping. i've been thinking of up grading to a newer bike, maybe an ultra or something along those lines, but i sort of got used to not having to make payments.

A long time ago we (hubby and I) owned a yellow something or another, it was long in the front and i road with him a couple of times but the acid from the battery that was leaking ate tiny holes in my jeans at the ankles . I'll never forget it ......but aside from all that i like the feel :) and the wind and the free -ness of it .....but i am scared of the thaught of wrecking and i think that it's because when i was young my little shit for a brother had a kawasaki 100 and he would beg me to ride with him and when i would finally agree he would do shit to scare me to death and laugh about it. And there are people out there that doesn't have any respect for bike riders. They will be the ones to do me in. There is a girl in our archery club that rides and i think that is really cool. I build bank equipment and my hubby builds beer bottles LOL will be marrried 20 yrs. Aug 2001 Im - 40 he's - 53

"57 Pan, "77 Shovel
|
I live in beautiful, wet Washington a couple of hours away from the People's Republic of Seattle. My residence is on an island in the Puget Sound in some of the finest riding scenery in the country. I have a "57 Pan that I"ve owned every since the late "60's. I put it together after seeing Easy Rider 15 times in "69. In 1977, after graduating from college, I rolled a brand new Superglide off the showroom floor for $2800.00! Still have it, still runs great for an AMF. I have been wed to my college sweetie for 23 years, have a son who is 12 going on 30, and a lovely daughter of 9. I teach in the public school system which gives me lots of road time in the summer. I also love salmon fishing, playing bluegrass fiddle, and I am working on being an amateur chrome plater. This is one of the finest biker sites in cyberspace. Very informative w/o a lot of trash. Keep up the good work, keep the wheels turning.

56 years young, Pisces, single now but share my life with my long time friend Carol. Have two children.........Kurt , Todd Jr. and two beautiful granddaughters... Deanna and Cassidy. Grew up in central N.J., moved to Maine in 1976. Diesel engine mechanic by trade, have taught a diesel engine service and engine overhaul course at Washington County Community College ( www.wccc.me.edu) for the last 29 years. (now I have my full retirement locked in) Have a small farm and raise Hereford cattle, hay and cut firewood as a summer hobby/extra income/tax write off when school is out. Like to raise a garden and enjoy hunting and fishing, snowmobiling and taking care of my place. A camp on Nash's Lake is my local escape. Riding either of my Harleys is another of my favorite things to do! I've done extensive change to the Dyna but left the Road King pretty much stock. I seem to always be able to make time to ride on nice days, an important priority because of our short riding season.. Sometimes I feel that I have way too much going on but I enjoy being busy. I feel blessed to have my health and to have family and good friends to share life with.

Hi all, I'm Brenda. 43 years young in Sept., married very happily for 4 years. I have a beautiful 14 year old step daughter and 3 cats. My ole man has a motorcycle shop in Lakeland, Fa which is starting to get a good hold. I am a mechanic at the local power plant. My passions are my Scoot, My Ole Man, and football. The ole man put me on my first in control ride in 95 soon after we met. He started me out on a 79 Sporty, and boy was I thrilled. In 99 he gave me my Lowrider for my 40th birthday, must be love. She is a dream. I call her MS, for My Scoot of course. The paint was done for my 41st birthday right before our trip to Sturgis. What a blast. He rides an 81 Shovel with a bitchin paint job. And no Todd neither are RED. His shovel has the most distincitve sound its really radical. Both bikes are pretty much stock, both run S&S carbs, other than that mostly decorative changes made. I guess thats enough, am not sure if this satisfies the inquiring mind or not. Live Free, Ride Free mrseddie

Just turned "50". Had a little problem with that, but what heck it's just a number, my soul will always be young. Became single about 5 years ago. I have 2 daughters age 23 and 30, 2 grandchildren , girl 6 years, boy 5 years, a third grandchild on the way. Work in the lettering department of an Athletic Sporting Goods Store. I have done the colors for motorcycle clubs for about 30 years. Still do it the old way (chain stitch machine) . I do a lot of computer embriodery now. Got into that about 5 years ago. Love it . I do the digitzing and what my boss calls "Time Management Cordinator". I've been to Stergis 2 times now. Absolutely love it. That would be a place I would move to. Have been a backseat rider for 30 years now hope to some day soon have my own. At moment not involed with anyone, not really a priority got a lot of things I'm getting into right now . Just got my computor. Want to go back to college and finish that(started originally in 1969 but got married and didn't finish), plan on getting into Graphic Arts.

Start off with a Honda 50 and went from there. Always wanted a HD and finally the dream came true 2 years ago. I can't beleive I waited this long. It's the most fun you can have with your clothes on. Maybe with your clothes off but I've never tried that. Things I love are my Savior, Jesus Christ, my wife and son, football (use to coach and teach sckool before the oilfield), and riding. I wished I could type better to be able to tell each one of you how it makes me feel, but I really don't have to, do I, because you alrready know!!

Passenger these days
|
Female, 40, Divorced with one fabulous daughter aged 12. I enjoy photograghy, political "discussions", gymnastics and football. I am also an assistant manager of a biker site, Bikers Post. My one constant love all these years is riding! Grew up with bikes. My first at age 18 was a BSA. I then "acquired" a 73 sporty, but hated to kick it (was actually a daily fight). Sold both eventually. Got married and bought my man an FXR and became his passenger (Hey! I like this! Hands free for pics on the road!).....Daughter arrives....riding curtailed after near fatal accident. A few years later the hubby buys me a 69 triumph (ANOTHER kicker), but I realized I enjoyed being a passenger more (or was it that I hated to kick that beast?) and eventually sold that as well). Next was the FLHTCU and I was in heaven! Best road pics and comfort to boot! When we parted, he took the bike (hey! I made the payments on it!...) and now I passenger with a couple of friends. "QT", my daughter, will NOT let me buy one for myself as she is still haunted by my earlier accident. ("I'm the only one she has")....BUT..I am wearing her down.(LOL). My daughter is a competitive gymnast (Level 8) and travels to different states. Between her schedule at school and with gymnastics (she trains 20-24 hours a week) and my schedule.......we only travel when she competes. (We visit 7 states this year). We try to do meet and greets with online friends when we are in their towns. Right now I am doing Financial Consulting from my home (need the flexibility for QT) and since we just moved here to Kansas to be closer to her training center....I will be looking for something closer as well. The company that I am contracted with is too far for the runners and messengers that I use.... ANYWAY.....Looking around, it looks like Tood and Deb did a GREAT job with this site!!!! Thanks for having me!!!!
