Bands:
With such a diverse repertoire and versatile instrument as the accordion, Bonnie has several groups to perform some great music:
Bonnie’s Cabaret Band – this group offers a little of everything. One feature is it’s multilingual talents. Vocals can be sung in German, Italian, French, Spanish, and of course English. The music will be a combination of instrumentals of different styles and vocals of different languages and styles. It is also possible to add ballroom dancers to enhance the performance.
Bonnie Birch Dance Band – this group has the right skills to perform for dances. With Bonnie’s 15 years of ballroom dance training, the group appreciates the need for correct tempi and dance feel. Dance styles include fox trot, waltzes, swing, rumba, cha cha, tango, samba, two step, and oldies rock.
Bonnie Birch Bavarian Band – When it is Octoberfest time, this group has all the right material and the right sound for a great party. Guitarist/vocalist Nick Heiting, who was born and raised in Germany, sings all the popular songs with authenticity. With the sound of the accordion and tuba, it is impossible not to have a good time.
Lawrence Welk Revisited – This group plays favorites that were performed on the stage by the Lawrence Welk orchestra. The music is great for listening, singing, and dancing. This show was very popular on Senior Days at the Puyallup Fair.
