Background:

La Mezzanotte (Midnight) Duo or Trio was formed ten years ago and performs for events with an Ethnic theme such as the Festa Italiana held regularly at the Seattle Center in September. The musicians consist of Bonnie Birch on accordion, Nick Heiting on guitar, and one of several other fine musicians playing bass, violin, or mandolin.

The Music:

The music is of a European Continental nature often focusing on Italian and French tunes with a taste of everything else mixed in. The group is comfortable playing on the stage or in a stationary location but is often found being mobile. For example at an outdoor event, the musicians can stroll and play in different locations.
